At Kernow Coatings we take our environmental responsibilities seriously.

For instance, whilst there will always be debate on the best way to proceed, we cannot eliminate travel completely, or we will never see our customers. 

In 2008   we chose to support woodland creation, with the Woodland Trust the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity, by funding the planting of 3,000 native trees at Trenant Wood, near Looe, Cornwall. 

For 2010/11   we have chosen to support woodland creation, with the Woodland Trust, the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity, by funding the planting of 2,000 native trees at Duncliffe Wood, near Shaftesbury, Dorset.

The trees are more expensive, and it’s also covering them being protected to grow up big, not get chopped for paper in 10 years.

There is always room for improvement, so environmental actions will always be a 'Work in Progress', but we have pleasure in  releasing our Environmental Policy Statement, which are the guidelines by which we work.
