Films using Sensitisers’ proprietary Multicling coating can be simply pressed on any smooth surface and will adhere themselves and stick fast until they are peeled away again, leaving no adhesive residue. It is NOT static cling. Static Cling will fail over time, especially if it gets damp, as the conductivity of water cuts the static charge. Neither is it a normal light adhesive, which slowly hardens. MultiCling products have been left on windows for two years before peeling away to reveal a light sweat-mark that has wiped off with a dry cloth. Its action is more like sucking, which is why it works on any smooth surface, including gloss paint, but not mottled emulsion paint. This means it clings to:

Glass, smooth plastics (e.g. acrylic sheets, PP bottles), smooth wood, both painted and raw metals (not just ferrous, aluminium is fine too), smooth surfaced paint (qualified on rally cars), whether gloss or silk.

This now a medium-term outdoor signage sticker. The toner will determine the real image life, but you can bet it’s more acceptable than inkjet, being scratch-resistant, completely waterproof and in no need of over-lamination. It is being used on the sides of vending machines, but also of rally cars, which certainly require good stick, but the ability to be peeled away without residue, for frequent re-spraying! This is an inexpensive and ultra-quick method of producing a shop promotion/point of sale advertising.

Also, it is the laser version of a flexible magnet. It does what a fridge magnet does. And with its polyester basis and long-term repositionability, it makes a durable solution for storage racking and shelf-edge labels, maintaining its shape time after time. (Don’t forget magnets stick to dirty /greasy metal, this will need a clean smooth surface.) Try it also in die-cut sheets for making personalised, re-usable stickers on laminated planning charts/calendars. This is the durable, re-usable version of the paper label. This marks a whole new area of opportunity for our customers.
